JD McClellan is a litigation associate at Peters Kussmaul Crosier, where he focuses his practice on commercial, business, and real estate disputes. JD has helped a wide range of businesses and individuals navigate the legal process from the early stages of a dispute through trial and appeal. With a deep understanding of complex legal issues, he balances strong advocacy for his clients with practical advice focused on achieving a favorable resolution.

JD earned his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. During law school, he interned with the Honorable Reed O'Connor of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the litigation team at Cantey Hanger LLP, and the North Richland Hills City Attorney's Office, gaining an early, multi-perspective view of litigation from the federal bench, private practice, and municipal government. Before law school, JD graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston while serving as a flight medic in the United States Air Force Reserve.

JD is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and is an active member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association.

Outside the office, JD enjoys playing board games, traveling, and spending time outdoors with his wife, Brittney, and their daughter, Hollyn.
